How to watch

Watch the launch live

Online. SpaceX streams every Starship flight live on X (@SpaceX), usually starting about 30 minutes before liftoff. NASASpaceflight streams the Starbase pads around the clock on YouTube.

In person. Boca Chica Beach and Highway 4 close for launches, so most spectators watch from South Padre Island or Port Isabel. Bring binoculars: they are far easier than a telescope for following a rocket. See our launch-viewing guide.

What to expect. The booster returns to the tower about 7 minutes after liftoff. The ship flies on and comes back later in the mission.
